How to get there?

1. How do I get to the hotel by public transport?

We’re located on the main street of Paleochora just 5 minutes walk from the town centre and 50m from the bus station. From Chania the journey takes 2 hours by local bus. Timetable changes during the year so it is advisable to check the timetable on the bus company website, see hyperlink below. The bus station in Chania is 15 km from the airport, there are buses from the airport to the town, easier is to take a taxi – cost approximately 15 euro For up to date information about the bus timetable the KTEL telephone number is +30 28210 93052 or website

2. What about parking?

The hotel has its own parking, but you need to make a reservation in advance. There is an additional cost of 5euros per day. Parking is also allowed on the main street in front of the hotel

Rooms & Breakfast

1. What different rooms does the hotel have?
We have 33 bedrooms,1 quadruple bedroom, 13 triple bedrooms with 2 single beds and a sofa-bed and 19 double bedrooms with 2 single beds or king size bed.

2. We have children and the website is saying we need to book two rooms.

The maximum number of people in a double room is two. However we can accommodate infants with baby cots sharing their parent`s room or an extra bed for children under 12 years old. Baby cots are available free of charge from the hotel. Extra bed can be provided at 10Euro per night. As soon as you have made your reservation, please call the hotel directly in order to check the availability and book a cot or extra bed.

3. Where is Breakfast served?
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the restaurant of the hotel daily from 07:30-10:30 am. However breakfast can also be served in your room with an additional cost of 5euro.

4. What about Internet Access?
Internet access is included in the room rate. Wired internet access within the rooms and wireless in common areas (lobby, restaurant, pool)

Booking & Payments

1. What are the conditions on direct booking?

To request a reservation please fill out the simple booking form, which appears after you press the Contact button on the hotel details page. VISA or Master Card credit is required to proceed with the reservation

2. When will my credit card be charged?

Payment for a booking is processed when you check out from The Hotel.This process can take up to 48 hours to be actioned.

3. What is the cancellation policy?

If the reservation is cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show the first night will be charged

Check In & Check Out

1. What time can I check in?
From 14:00 on the day of arrival.

2. When do I need to check out?

At 12:00 on the day of departure

3. Can I store my luggage?

We are more than happy to store your luggage free of charge, if you arrive before we can check you in or when you are leaving and you want to carry on exploring the area.
